A closer look at the project
VEBKO 3D Product Viewer is an interactive web platform for exploring relay test equipment through detailed, rotatable 3D models. Users can inspect products from every angle, select individual parts, and access structured technical and commercial information.
From the first need to the final solution
The initial need
The project required a centralized interactive tool that sales teams, technical experts, customers, and distributors could use to inspect VEBKO products remotely. The viewer needed to replace limited static product images with an experience that supported rotation, zooming, part identification, product-specific information, multiple device models, and integration with other VEBKO presentation platforms.
The main challenge
Industrial products such as relay test equipment contain numerous connectors, outputs, inputs, controls, and technical components that are difficult to explain clearly using ordinary photographs or static catalogs. The main challenge was to create a smooth browser-based experience that could display detailed 3D models, support part selection, present useful information, and remain responsive on different screen sizes without requiring specialized software.
The proposed solution
I developed a modular browser-based 3D viewer using customized Online 3D Viewer components and WebGL rendering. Each product has a dedicated page and GLB model, while users can rotate, zoom, reset the view, enter full-screen mode, and select individual components. Selecting a part triggers a controlled camera animation and opens a responsive information panel containing its title, description, technical details, and sales information. An administration mode allows authorized content editors to connect model meshes to bilingual information without modifying the core source code.
The project development process
Product Requirements and Experience Planning
Defined how customers, sales teams, and technical experts should rotate, inspect, select, and understand individual parts of VEBKO products.
3D Model Preparation
Prepared and optimized the product models, object hierarchy, materials, textures, and mesh names for efficient browser-based loading and interaction.
Interactive Part Selection
Implemented mesh detection and selectable product components so users could click individual parts and access their associated information.
Camera and Selection Animations
Developed smooth camera transitions that move toward selected components while preserving model visibility and preventing rendering interruptions.
Part Information System
Created a responsive information panel and structured data system for displaying bilingual titles, descriptions, images, specifications, and sales information.
Administration and Content Editing
Developed an administration mode that allows model parts to be selected and connected to editable information stored in the local PartInfo database.

What this project delivered
The final result is a reusable and scalable 3D product presentation system that transforms complex industrial equipment into a clear and engaging digital experience. It enables customers and sales teams to inspect products remotely, improves the explanation of individual components, supports multiple VEBKO devices, and can operate independently or inside larger sales and presentation platforms. The Viewer currently supports interactive product access for models such as AMT105 and AMT205.
Let’s build a clear and effective digital experience.
From technical content and visual communication to websites, interactive systems, and automation.
